About CURIOUS.
Is there anyone among us who is not Curious?
An adjective in use since 1275 a.d., Curious can describe a person, a place, or a thing. This exhibition will encompass all three: The Viewer who is inquisitive and may discover something previously unknown; The Art which may be highly novel, or subtle, or intricate; and The Exhibition itself, unusual and unexpected. Find out what these artists have to say. In serious and humorous work, realistic and abstract, the artists in this exhibition explore complexities both literally and figuratively. Ellen Dooley, a visual artist and curator, has gathered fifty artists with fifty distinct voices, each sharing their unique vision of Curious. .
